First day at work
The day is finally here – welcome aboard! 🚀
Your first day marks the start of your onboarding journey, where you’ll get to know your team, explore our ways of working, and dive into everything you need to hit the ground running. Fetch your Zenseact merch, computer, phone and take your ID photo before heading to lunch with some new colleagues. You will be appointed a buddy that will mentor you the first couple of weeks. Over the coming weeks, you’ll gain insights into our different business areas, meet inspiring colleagues, and get a feel for what it’s like to be part of Zenseact.
And remember – questions are always welcome (yes, all of them!). We’re here to make sure you have everything you need to thrive. 💡

Most employees arrive at the office around 9 AM.

We have a flexible seating arrangement, so feel free to choose any spot that suits you. Most teams tend to sit together on a specific floor, so you might find it helpful to join them.

We encourage you to dress comfortably. Our dress code is flexible, ranging from casual to business casual, with most leaning towards casual.

You'll be provided with a company laptop, phone, and a photo ID. Your ID will grant you access to the building's entrance and each floor. Lockers are also available upon request.

You’re welcome to bring your own lunch and enjoy it in the kitchen area available on every floor. If you prefer dining out, there are numerous options nearby, ranging from quick bites to sit-down restaurants, offering a diverse selection of cuisines to suit your taste.

We primarily use Slack and Microsoft Teams for communication. These platforms will help you stay connected with your team and the rest of the company. Your laptop will come with both applications pre-installed.
Additionally, you'll be pre-assigned to several Slack channels to help you get started. These include channels for IT and facility support, specific team or department channels, and even hobby and fika channels to help you connect with colleagues on a more personal level.
