At the Zenseact Lund office, you’ll join a small, close-knit group of engineers working with real data and real challenges in autonomous driving. The Lund office is located within the Volvo Cars innovation environment at Ideon Science Park, and the team consists of around 10 colleagues, creating a personal, focused, and highly collaborative setting.

This summer job is designed for students in the later part of their studies who are looking for depth, responsibility, and close collaboration with experienced engineers.

What you might work on

Depending on your background and interests, your work could include:

Working with real-world driving data and data processing pipelines

Supporting tasks related to training data and model development

Contributing to model training, evaluation, or analysis tasks

Working with computer vision and perception-related data

Supporting integration and validation work to understand how models and data are used in practice

Exploring how data, models, and system behavior connect in real products

You’ll be matched to work that fits your skills and learning goals – this is not a one-size-fits-all job.

Who we’re looking for

This role is especially well-suited for students who:

Are in the later part of their Master’s studies (with minimum one year left)

Study Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, or similar

Have experience or interest in Python, data analysis, and working with technical systems

Are curious, thoughtful, and motivated to understand how things work end-to-end

Live in or near Lund

You don’t need to know everything – curiosity and willingness to learn matter more than a perfect background.

Support & learning

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, have a dedicated mentor, and be trusted with meaningful tasks early on. The Lund team values collaboration, openness, and learning – questions are encouraged.
