Insights from the team
This is your chance to join our Complete Feature Analysis and Verification team. At Zenseact, we are committed to the development of our Autonomous Drive (AD) software. To ensure the safety and quality of our software, our team plans and executes complete feature verification in simulation, vehicles and other environments. We analyze the feature performance and generate key performance indicators (KPIs).
Our team is also engaged in continuously improving the complete feature by reporting and discussing feature status, and give input to software and calibration changes. Working with scenarios, simulations and scripts are a vital part of our contribution. As a part of the Agile Release Train (ART) System and Features, collaboration with various other teams within Zenseact and customer interactions are important parts of our daily work.
Your mission and day to day tasks
Together with you, we will perform complete feature verification. Among others, this can include:
- Analyzing planning and performing complete feature verification in different verification environments (e.g. software in the loop, vehicle, etc.)
- Creation of test specifications for different verification environments
- Work with scenarios and develop methods to generate critical synthetic test cases
- Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assessing complete feature performance
- Development of automated scripts for efficient analysis of log data
- Reporting and participating in discussions regarding found issues, as well as suggesting software and calibration changes
- Generating and sharing innovative methods to solve challenges
- Contributing to a more data driven verification way of working
- Participate in day-to-day testing, test campaigns and competitor analysis
What's in it for you
In this role, you will influence the product direction and work in a rapidly changing industry with a life-saving mission. You will work in a global environment with people from diverse backgrounds, learning something new every day. Depending on your competencies and interests there is room to shape this role. Finally you will be able to enjoy a flexible work approach and a good work/life balance.
Qualification and Experience
We are looking for enthusiastic and collaborative complete feature verification engineers that enjoy making their team succeed. You, as a prospective team member, demonstrate an eagerness to engage in data-centric development and derive satisfaction from conceiving innovative solutions transparently. You have an end-to-end product perspective with a possibility to zoom both in and out, along with the ability to identify and deliver solutions forward - step by step. Ideally, you have a genuine interest in or experience from AD complete feature verification and have a good understanding of the complexities with deployment of safe autonomous vehicles
The position offers a lot of variation and you should equally enjoy to work in the vehicle context as well as simulations and analysis scripts.
Essential experience
- Industrial experience and domain knowledge within software in the loop (SIL) and in vehicle verification and validation of either AD or ADAS end-customer-features, for instance adaptive cruise control or similar
- Complete feature knowledge and experience within requirement analysis and traceability
- MSc in Control Theory, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or within a relevant engineering discipline
- You are skilled or very highly committed to develop skills in Python and C++
- Interest and experience in SW development tool chains and processes (Git, CI/CD)
- European driving license
A plus, but not a necessity...
- Scenario based verification
- Solid knowledge of statistics
- Knowledge in development of connected features and cloud technology
- Data analysis skills (e.g. SQL, data visualization)
How do we work?
Flexible-remote way of working: Zenseact has a flexible and modern approach, thus is happy to offer to its employees the possibility for a combination of work at the office and from home. This doesn't include fully remote work from outside Sweden/China.
More about Zenseact
At Zenseact we want to make safe and intelligent mobility real, for everyone, everywhere. We develop the complete software stack for ADAS and AD, from pixel to torque. Our focus is to build a single cutting-edge software platform in order to serve various levels of autonomy and offer unequaled scalability at the same time. We operate out of Gothenburg, Sweden and Shanghai, China. Zenseact’s first self-driving deployment will be launched on the next-generation vehicle platform from Volvo Cars and Polestar.
Every year, 1.350.000 people are killed in traffic accidents, another 55.000.000 people are injured. With the push of our technology and the use of our software, we can move towards zero, faster. That's our purpose and that's why we get up in the morning. We feel that is a goal worth pursuing.
But technology, software, tools and datasets would not mean much without the best people behind the wheel to drive them. At Zenseact, some five hundred of the best engineering minds globally, stationed across two continents, are collaborating with the same passion: to bring autonomous driving to the streets for real and create a safer journey for everyone. This is part of our culture and how we work, develop and grow together.
Zenseact works proactively to create a culture of diversity and inclusion, where individual differences are appreciated and respected. To drive innovation we see diversity as an asset, which means we value and respect differences in gender, race, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, sexual orientation or age etc.
Interviews are held on a continuous basis, so we highly recommend that you submit your application at your earliest convenience.
