We’re forming a Software Process Core Team of four members and are looking for skilled developers to join us. Your focus will be on coding-level tasks and tool development, pioneering efforts to streamline compliance and enhance efficiency in software development.

Your Mission and Day-to-Day Tasks

You will be working hands-on with coding to improve our tools, automation, and methodologies. Typical tasks on a day-to-day basis include:

• Maintain and improve the software development process.
• Provide general support (e.g., answering questions in Slack).
• Script and develop tools to support software development.
• Build tools to measure process compliance and effectiveness.
• Maintain and improve existing tools (e.g., FMEA, static architecture tools).
• Create new tools to automate processes and simplify developers' daily work.
• Keep self-audit tools and procedures up to date.
• Deliver training sessions on the software development process.
• Refine the methodology for the "Software Element Definition of Done."
• Monitor and ensure process adherence across Zenseact teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential experience

• Several years of experience in software development activities (e.g., requirement breakdown, architectural design, implementation, testing).
• Expertise in safety and quality standards (e.g., ASPICE and ISO 26262).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Bazel.
• Strong skills with Git and Gerrit.
• Pedagogical abilities to train and support others effectively.

Nice to have, but absolutely not a must have!

• A passion for developing tools and processes to simplify and improve software development workflows.
