Insights from the team

Zenseact is increasingly using deep learning networks in our AD/ADAS software stack. Future concepts might make use of data sequences, allowing the networks to recognize and reason about temporal patterns related to motion, interactions and intentions of the other road users, and learn related representations. We are now adding resources to our deep learning teams in order to make make use of the new opportunities that can enable a superior product. 

Your mission and day-to-day tasks

You are going to make road traffic safer through developing software that support human drivers, and control vehicle motion autonomously. Our deep learning teams have different purposes, for example training infrastructure, data curation, data refinement, network architecture, active learning, object detection, freespace detection, lane detection, and localization. We are currently using DL networks for both vision and lidar data streams. The usage is expected to be expanded into other parts of the stack, for instance data fusion, and using temporal processing.

We work in teams with backlogs and sprints, making continuous refinements, and performing retrospectives to grow and learn both as individuals and as a team.

You are an innovative and motivated person with a strong background and interest for advanced deep learning for AD/ADAS applications.

Essential experience

• Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with camera or lidar based perception with deep learning
• Strong interest in making traffic accidents extinct
