Zenseact is flooded with a stream of sensor data from our collection fleet. Our data team's mission is to build the machine which can concentrate this data for Zenseact's perception stack development. The data will be used in the development of our Deep Learning based parts of our product, an increasingly important part of our development strategy.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding our core database layer, optimizing our annotation pipeline, and refining the curation framework. These components collectively orchestrate the management of data which is essential for data-driven perception solutions. In doing so, you will be enabling Zenseact in building the first fully autonomous car.
Have you been working with data pipelines and feel that you have a good understanding of how to architect this type of solution? Then you might be the ideal candidate for our Data Refinery area! We are looking to expand the team with an experienced engineer with keen eyes towards user experience and data pipeline architecture.
Your mission and illustrative day-to-day tasks
- Work with our modern stack for processing multi-sensor vehicle data and the way in which data is processed and fetched from our collection fleet.
- Continuously improve the pipeline so that each step become more robust and automated with every issue found.
- Design the future of our data pipeline making sure the pipeline is well aligned with both technical and end user needs.
- Improve our data management for deep learning to enable rapid experimentation and improvement of the perception stack.
- Actively engage with Deep Learning teams to gather feedback (both through direct interactions and automated channels) shaping the course of our data collection and annotation efforts.
Qualifications & experiences
- Several years of software engineering experience, preferably including architectural work
- API design experience
- Industrial experience developing in Python
- Industrial experience with SQL database design and use
- Ph.D., M.Sc. or B.Sc. in a related field such as: Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Engineering Physics, Robotics, etc.
